

Passed away peacefully at the age
of 93 to be with our Lord on May 23, 2013,
A second generation Mexican immigrant our loving
father and devoted husband instilled a religious
foundation and work ethic for us to follow. Our father, Jose;
became a Naturalized citizen, which he
was very proud of; while not a “Dreamer” his preservation
allowed us to reach our goals and dreams. A migrant
farm worker and his efforts to improve our family life;
led our father to become a well-known paint contractor
in Harlingen, and was well respected for his work.
He is preceded in death by his son, Bronze Star
reciepient, Jose D. Vallecillo, and his daughter,
Carmen Vallecillo. He is survived by his loving wive,
Macedonia Vallecillo; his daughters: Antonia Foley, and her
husband Edward; Isabel Castillo, and her
Husband, Raul (San Antonio, Tx); Herminia Dugger, and her
husband, Rocky (Buda, Tx); and Veronica Martinez, and her husband,
Richard; his sons: Miguel Vallecillo, and his wife, Ann (Connecticut);
Peter Vallecillo, and his wife, Derenda (San Antonio, Tx);
Alfonso Vallecillo; and Jose D. Vallecillo's widow, Linda Vallecillo.
Our father was blessed with 19 grandchildren;
and 18 great grandchildren.
Viewing 10 am-9 pm Saturday, May 25, 2013 with a Holy Rosary at 7 pm will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. Blessing be held at 10:30 am, Sunday, Mary 26, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel.
After the Blessing; with burial at Mount Meta Cemetery
in San Benito, Texas. We all thank you all for your prayers
but it is a rejoiceful time as our father, Jose Vallecillo, went
to be with God and his son, Jesus Christ.
