Brent Alan Galliher

He was born November 12, 1969, in Iredell County and was a son of Mr. James Galliher of Harmony and the late Louise Smith Galliher. He graduated from North Iredell High School and Wilkes Community College and attended Catawba College. Brent retired from the Harmony Volunteer Fire Department after 20 years of service and was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator. He attended West Yadkin Assembly of God and especially loved helping others. He enjoyed family time, time with his friends, gardening, football, cooking, hunting and all sports and outside activities.

Brent is survived by his wife, Amy Norman Galliher, whom he married on June 30, 2007; a son, J. W. Galliher; a daughter, Jessica Galliher; a step-daughter, Krista Norman, all of the home; and a brother, Todd Galliher, of Harmony.

Funeral services celebrating Brent's life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the Ernest M. Troutman Memorial Chapel of Reavis Funeral Home of Harmony with the Rev. Randy Goodin and the Rev. John Byerly officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery.

David Sloan, Doug Bess, Scottie Gaither, Charlie Galliher, Charlie Huitt, Billy Trivette, Tony Moore and Dale Fox will serve as active pallbearers. Tony Johnson, Dennis Foster, Mike Johnson, Matt Jordan, Travis Goodwin, Billy Little, Van Stack and Randy Myers will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will assemble at the residence and will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Reavis Funeral Home of Harmony.
