Robert Taylor Swaim

Born in Yadkin County, he was the son of the late Lester “Shorty” Swaim and Alma Rachels Swaim. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Swaim and a brother, Thomas Edward Swaim.

Mr. Swaim worked and retired from Hickory Chair Company.

Those left to cherish his memory are his stepdaughter, Megan Jones of Harmony; stepson, Larry Pegg (Michelle) of Greer, SC; one brother, Charles Swaim (Brenda); and two sisters, Betty Burton (Larry) of Advance, NC and Joan Russell (James) of Ronda, NC.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Reavis Funeral Home of Harmony. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM at the Ernest M. Troutman Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Swaim Baptist Church Cemetery.
