Alice K. Fee, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, in her home. Born January 5, 1923, in Hazleton, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Kuchar. She was a graduate of Hazleton HS, class of 1940.
Alice was an employee at the former Olmsted Air Force Base in Middletown, PA. She was a dedicated member of St. Catherine Laboure’ Church and was a member of the Legion of Mary. In the past, she volunteered with Meals on Wheels, as well as several local nursing homes, for over 20 years.
Alice enjoyed her home deck and backyard, bird watching, reading, traveling, and spending time with family. Over the last few years, Alice spent her winters in Florida, residing with her daughter Kate, and son-in-law Kirk.
Alice was married to the love of her life, the late Frederick H. Fee, for 70 years. She and Fred had six children: Barbara Hawthorne, William Fee (deceased), Catherine Waltz (Kirk), Pamela Bovee (William), Christine Trea (Thomas), Michael Fee, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at St Catherine’s, 4000 Derry St, Harrisburg. Time provided for sharing memories/viewing pictures, and greeting family members at church entry will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday.
