She was born August 1, 1932 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Myrtle I. (Stouffer) Shover.
She attended John Harris High School and was an employee of the former Coca Cola Bottling Co.
She is survived by her husband, Harry F. Sowers Jr.; a son, Richard L. Bowers, wife, Lola, of Vestaburg; two daughters, Holly A. Wynn, husband, Clayton, of Halifax, and Neva K. Barthel, husband, Thomas Sr., od Steelton; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and her brother, Richard L. Shover, of South Bend. IN.
A viewing will be held 12:00 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
