He was a retired superintendent for the Steelton Highspire Railroad and a U.S. Navy veteran of WW2. He was a graduate of Steelton High School, class of 1944 and Lafayette College. Carl was a True Steelton Steamroller.
Surviving is his wife, Betty (Noll) Potter; a son, Carl W. Potter III, wife Cynthia, of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Barbara Henry, husband, Jefffrey, of Halifax; 3 grandchildren, Nicolle Esposito, husband Richard, Cody William Henry and Katy Lichty; and a great-granddaughter, Madelynn Elizabeth Esposito.
Services and burial will be private.
