Born June 16, 1936, in Washington, DC; she was the daughter of the late E. Warren and Winifred (Kent) Finch; and preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mundy.
Surviving are her children, Kenneth Smith, Dianna Stultz and her husband, Bruce and Lisa Barrelet and her husband, Nicolas; grandchildren, Sam, Emily and wife, Michelle, Alec and wife, Mirriam, Kirsten and husband, Adam, and Andrew and fiancée, Audrey; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Vivian, Colbie and Oliver and many others who called her Mom and Grandma; two brothers, David W. Finch and Richard J. Finch and wife JoAnne; sister-in-law, Terry Fagan; brother-in-law, Robert Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was a retired cafeteria worker at the Central Dauphin Middle School and was a Dauphin County Election Official for the last 30 years at the 29th Street Election Pole.
Carolyn was a devout catholic, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a 50 year member of the former Holy Family Catholic Church and a current member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church.
Carolyn was an avid Washington Redskins fan, Notre Dame fan and loved reading, gardening and crocheting.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Monday, April 22, 2024, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM, Monday, until the time of the service at the church.
