Charles Elwood Marsh

CHARLES ELWOOD MARSH was reunited in heaven with his father, Charles Edward Marsh, who has been patiently waiting since May 1, 2013. Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Ruth C. Marsh; two daughters, Brittney Nichole and Charly Lynn, both of Palmyra, adopted son, Giovanni Carmine of New York, mother Connie Irene Marsh of Harrisburg, sister Michelle Irene, & her husband Leroy “TC” Malseed, of Enola, oldest brother James Anthony Sprenkle and youngest brother Cleveland Edward Marsh, both of Harrisburg, 6 nieces, 10 nephews, 2 great nephews, 8 great nieces, 3 uncles, 7 aunts, 29 first cousins, 68 second cousins, and 16 third cousins. Charles retired from Taylor Wharton after 21 years of service as an ultrasound technician and was ex-president of United Steel Workers, local 1688. In his spare time, Charles enjoyed watching his favorite football teams, the Oakland Raiders and Penn State, playing softball, golfing, and spending his life with his beloved wife, watching their girls grow.

Charles suddenly lost his life to cancer surrounded by his loving family and friends. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Lemoyne Drive, Suite 101, Lemoyne, PA 17043.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 15, 2013, at 4:00 pm; with a visitation beginning at 2:00 pm until the time of service, in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA.
