Chester D. Swartz

He was a veteran of WWII, serving in Guam with the 20th Air Force, was formerly employed with the Harrisburg Decorating Company, was a member of Local Union 411, Robert Burns Lodge 464, Fairview Hunting Camp and the Crosspoint United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife Ruth, he is survived by 2 daughters, Cheryl Borrego, Colorado Springs, CO. and Cheston Zimmerman, Enola; 2 sons, Brian and Chester; sister, Dorothy Stewart, (Ronald), Etters; 2 step-children, Gregory Beard, Middletown and Joyce Seitz, Elizabethtown; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren. And he was proceeded in death by a granddaughter, Crystal.

Services will be held at Crosspoint United Methodist Church, 430 Colonial Road, Harrisburg on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:00a.m.with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery.
