

Reds was born August 11, 1927 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Bernetta (Garrison) Christman Sr.
He was a retired machinist for O.P. Shuman, of Warrington, PA, with 30 years service, and a former employee for Bethlehem Steel, and a US Navy veteran of WW 2, serving with the Navy Seabees in the South Pacific.
Reds enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling, he also volunteered for 17 years at the Bay Pines Veteran’s Hospital, St. Petersburg, Fl, and was a life member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America, and the NRA.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Largo, Fl, and the Largo American Legion Post 119.
He was the widower of Catherine R. (Keschl) Christman; and preceded in death by his sister, Betty Schander; brothers, Richard and Gerald Christman.
Surviving is his wife, Emeline “Fesmire” Christman; son, Bruce Christman, of Stewartstown, PA; 2 stepsons, Edward Gassler, wife, Lillian, of The Villages, FL, and Robert I. Fesmire, wife, Mary, of Saline, MI; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton, PA, with a reception to follow at the Barnhouse Village, 7401 Airport Rd, Bath, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the “City of Hope Fund” at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1199 Highland Ave., Largo, Fl, 33770.
