Frank W. Miller, 99, of Harrisburg, beloved brother and uncle, died peacefully on June 9, 2021, at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg. He was born in Steelton, PA, on May 5, 1922, son of the late John and Mary Mihalic Miller.
Frank served in the 99th Infantry Division of the Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot where he was an aircraft mechanic. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Steffie, Mary and Margaret Miller, Clare Cassel, and Elizabeth Orndorff; and his brothers, Joseph, John, and Thomas Miller. Frank is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2pm. Viewing will take place at St. Catherine Laboure at 11am, Thursday, until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine Laboure Church.
