George Albert Bernard, Jr.

Born April 29, 1947 in Harrisburg; he was the son of the late George A. and Barbara (Lopert) Bernard Sr; and preceded in death by his brother, Richard Bernard.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Carol Ann (Bickel) Bernard; two daughters, Melissa K. Samson (Mike) and Kimberly A. Tilghman (Donald; 3 grandchildren, Chase and Tyler Samson and Jewel Crutchfield.

George was a retired driving instructor for Zimmerman Driving School.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
