Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Gregory was the son of Arthur and Darlene Spiese. Greg was well known in the community. For years he was the lead singer of a local band, The London Fog. Whether it was Kenny Rogers, Elvis or a little Frank Sinatra, Greg had a unique sound that entertained everyone.
He was the owner and operator of a tuxedo business, Strictly Formals. He made sure you were treated like family for your special occasion. He supported many local sport teams and donated to many charities.
Greg loved spending time with his family, traveling to Disney World, and taking spontaneous day trips. He enjoyed being the life of the party. You always felt welcomed on his site at Appalachian Campground, where he met lifelong friends. On Saturdays in the fall, you could hear him loud and proud over his megaphone shouting, “Touchdown, Penn State!”
He is survived by his loving daughters, Ashley Nein and Amber Spotts, his son-in-law, Darin Spotts; his sisters, Alice Forry and Melissa Kensinger; his brother, Larry Spiese, and his grandson, Preston Nein.
