James Michael Spagnolo (Papa/Poppa) left his heartbroken family and friends way too soon on May 28, 2025, at the age of 53, with his faithful companion Buddy standing by his side. He leaves behind the loves of his life, his girls Angie (Kyle Carpenter), Abbey (Hunter Pierce), Anna (Ivan Henderson), and his bonus daughter Lauren, who he shared with their mother Tammy (Scott Thomas). He also leaves behind his forever companion “Beans”, his Momma Jeanne Spagnolo who he would have and did everything for, his siblings and best friends Karen/Murf (Bob) Gnall and Joseph P. Spagnolo, Jr., and his nephew Ed (Laurie) Gnall. He so enjoyed spending time with his cousins Michael (Danielle) and Domenick Delaney. We know he was greeted by his Poppy, Joseph P. Spagnolo, Sr. who we’ve all missed dearly since he left us in 2020 saying, “Hey Boy, glad to see you. Where’s my beer?!” Afterward Jim caught up with his maternal grandparents Vincent and Jeane Delaney, his paternal grandparents Philip and Anna Spagnolo and his beloved Uncle Michael Delaney. We know that he’s also rolling around on the ground with the many family pets we’ve lost along the way! Spags would have celebrated his 54th Birthday on June 8th with his fellow lifelong June Birthday buds Gregg Gummo and David Frantz. Brad Rissinger of CA would have joined in the celebration as well! Jim had so many close friends to mention by name, but know that he cherished his time with you. Jim was passionate about anything he embarked on. He began his real estate journey in 1993 with Jack Gaughen and was currently the Director of Operations for Homesale’s Hershey office. Jim was not only a realtor who cared deeply about his clients finding their dream home, but he was also a teacher and mentor to countless realtors. In 2024 he was inducted into the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors Hall of Fame, the highest award you can achieve in a lifetime. Jim was so full of life and who can forget about him hosting “Spag-a-rita-ville” on his pontoon off of Shelly Island on the Susquehanna! He was also passionate about his playtime and proud of his pool league family and friends.
Jim, you were our rock, and your towering presence was only matched by your booming voice and hearty laugh that will live on! Until we meet again, Love you, Mean it.
