Joseph E. Crawford Jr.

Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Harrisburg Hospital. Joseph was the son of the late

Joseph E. Crawford, Sr. and Louise Crawford.

He is survived by Susann Crawford of Susquehanna Township; son Jason Crawford and

his wife Gina; granddaughters Elizabeth, Cara and Natalie Crawford, all of Harrisburg;

two brothers, Stephen Crawford of Harrisburg; Brett Crawford, and his wife, Teresa, of Harrisburg; one sister, Cheryl Karnes, and her husband, Chris of Leesburg, Florida; an uncle, David Crawford, and his wife Ginny, of Harrisburg; two brothers-in-law, Stephen Matlock, and David W. Smith, both of Harrisburg. He is also survived by a niece, Kelly; nephews Kevin, Justin, Michael and Matthew, and several cousins.

Joe was a 1971 graduate of Central Dauphin High School, and a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College. He was an avid New York Yankees fan, and he enjoyed billiards, bowling and watching movies. He especially enjoyed spending time with his beautiful granddaughters.

A Mass to celebrate Joseph's life will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, in Harrisburg. There will be a visitation at the Church, one hour prior to Mass, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
