I am very sorry to here about Ken. I just heard of his passing. I worked at one of the schools before retiring.  My prayers are with the family.

Those we love remain with us; for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart. For as long as there is a memory, they'll live on in our hearts. 
When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. My memories of working with Ken in the CD Admin Bldg and our chats about the Township will forever be my treasures.  He is a wonderful, kind, caring man.  My condolences to the Dietz family

Katie and family, So sorry for the loss of your loved one. My heart and prayers are with you. I hope that you remember me. I didn't personally know Ken, but do remember meeting him. I worked with you when you were in school and a new nurse at Pinnacle. May the days ahead get lighter for you. My most sincere condolences.

So sad to hear of your dad's passing; I know that your parents had a wonderful marriage, which set the tone for the devotion to family that you possess.  It's without a doubt that you are passing these values down to your girls, Gianna and Brianna...

Joe and I are so sorry to here of Kenneth's passing.

Kathy and I are unable to attend Ken's funeral and therefore I must try to express our condolences through this personal eulogy. Words will not adequately convey how Ken positively influenced my life but I must at least try. 

I first met Ken more than 50 years ago and we became great friends.  I will try to provide some insight into my experiences with Ken throughout those many decades without being too sappy and as we dreamed about what our futures would hold. 
His first car was a real fixer-upper. We became bondo' experts as we restored that old Dodge Dart. Maybe this is why Ken later tried to have the best of everything.  Ken later acquired the best whenever he could whether it was bicycles, hunting and fishing items, motorcycle, or cars. At one time we agreed to buy identical motorcycles and I was able to buy mine first. A few days later a better deal came along on a bigger and better Suzuki and Ken bought it. 
I remember how Ken enjoyed the outdoors. One time I especially recall is when we drove to Potter County for the day. A light rainfall started as we arrived in the mountains. We were so tired we took a short nap as the light rain drummed on the car roof. We left a few hours later and arrived back in Harrisburg and later talked about the trip many times.
I would come home a few weekends when I was in the Navy. At that time Ken was the prime delivery person who transported the newspapers bundles from the printer press dock to the resident delivery people. Ken would wake me at the wee hours of the morning and shanghai me into helping him so he could get done early and we would then have more of the weekend to run around. 
There were also more than a few occasions when we were working at Rite Aid that were hilarious. One time Ken put toothpaste in the work gloves and my hands were smeared when I put them on. I got my payback when I cornered him in a tractor trailer with a bottle of jet black hair dye in each hand, ready to drench him. At the last minute, Ken talked me out of my revenge. There were also a few occasions when we would backup full tractor trailers at Rite Aid to see who could put them into the loading dock the fastest, Ken normally won.
Ken talked me into many adventures such as taking my jeep through ice cold streams to explore new areas you could not get to otherwise. Everything was fine until we got stuck and everyone had to wade into the icy water to push the jeep off the rock.
I must conclude with my sincere appreciation to Ken for introducing me to the Dietz-Bihl families and especially his one cousin whom I later married. Ken was my best man when I married Kathy and I was his best man when he married to Katie.
As I mentioned, we are submitting this offering because we are unable to attend Ken's funeral as we are cruising on our sailboat in Florida. I know Ken would approve because he enjoyed the good things in life. Do not be sad for Ken but REMEMBER as he always tried to have fun and good times.

So sorry to hear of Ken's passing, may he be at peace.  Ken was a wonderful man and will be missed.  Thoughts and prayers to the family.
