Michael Lee Glenny Sr., 79, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. Michael was the devoted husband of the late Beverly Glenny, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. He was born on October 11, 1946, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the son of George C. Glenny and Helen (Cutman) Glenny.
Michael proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 to 1973, completing two tours in Vietnam. Following his military service, he worked for Roadway Express for 38 years.
Michael enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in sporting events and cherished time spent with his grand dogs, Ace and Bailey. He also enjoyed trips to the beach, visiting the casino, and watching classic television shows, especially westerns and horror films.
Michael is survived by his sons, Michael Glenny Jr. and his wife Susan, and George Glenny and his wife Rebecca; his grandchildren, Clayton Glenny, Elana Glenny, Kyle Miller, Karli DaCosta, and Kolbie Glenny; and his brother, Gary Glenny. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Elisenbach.
A visitation will be held on January 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Neill Funeral Home, Inc., located at 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA, 171111817.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 11:45 am.
A committal service will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, located at 4855 Londonderry Rd, Harrisburg, PA, 17109, from 12:15 pm to 12:30 pm on the same day.
