Born July 12, 1944 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Mark and Pasqualena (Papapietro) Piccioni; and preceded in death b y his wife, Stephanie A. (Torato) Piccioni and his beloved dog, Fiona.
Surviving are three sisters, Marlene Vidal, Marianne Devlin and Joanne Williams; sisters-in-law, Patty Gustafson, Denise Turato and Diane Linsenbach.
Raymond was a 1963 graduate of P.A.H.S., enlisted in the U. S. Army, attained the rank of SP4 and served in Germany. After his service, he worked for the U. S. P. S. until his retirement in 2014.
Raymond was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, and the Lawnton American Legion Post 998.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 PM Monday, February 10, 2025, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will be from 11:00 AM Monday until the time of the service at the church.
