

Shirley Jean Muldrew Warren is the third oldest child born to the late Ernest and Maxine Muldrew. She was born in Texarkana Texas on October 12, 1943. Shirley attended William Penn High School. Shirley met and married the late Daniel Warren and they were married for 27 years before he departed this life. She started her work tenure with Olivetti and later went to work for the Harrisburg School District where she retired in June 2011. Shirley loved serving children and she was particularly fond of those who gravitated to her.
Shirley accepted Christ in 1976 under the leadership of the late Pastor Belgium N. Baxter and served as a faithful member to Faith Chapel C.O.G.I.C. until she departed this earthly life. She formerly served as a member on the Pastors Aide, Faith Chapel Adult Choir, Sick and Shut in Ministry, Floral Mission and the Ushers Board.
Shirley enjoyed traveling, shopping, dining out, attending Gospel Musical events and spending time with her family.
Shirley had four sons that she so passionately adored. Her children were the fabric that paved her life. Her eldest son David Lee Soles which preceded her in death, Vernon Soles, Ernest Warren and Gary Warren and her oldest grandson in which she raised DeMario Elliott all of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Her Siblings: Geneva Mills, Earlene Bryant, Ernestine David which preceded her in death, Nadine Muldrew and Ophelia Caldwell.
She has 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to celebrate the memory of her life.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9:00 am to 11:00am at Mt .Calvary Church 1830 N. Fifth Street Harrisburg. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Monday, October19, 2015.
