She is survived by her sister, Laurie D. Myers (Bill), her niece Morgan, her nephew Jesse, and her dearest friend, Nadine Neidich.
Terry attended Edison Junior High School and John Harris High School in Harrisburg, PA She was a member of the John Harris graduating class of 1970. Terry performed as a Band Front Majorette in both schools and loved supporting her schools’ football teams. She also learned to sew in junior high school and made almost all of her own clothing throughout those years.
After graduation Terry became involved in ballroom dancing. She was very talented and became such an outstanding dancer that she participated in competitions and made many of her own costumes for those performances.
Over the years Terry developed a passion for gardening and was excited every spring to begin planning for her summer garden. In spite of the pain she endured every day from several surgeries on her back, she always managed to have a garden that brought her much joy.
Terry was also a great cook and loved hosting big holiday dinners for her family. However, as the issues with her back worsened, she was not able to continue doing that. But she still managed to make the best pies for holiday gatherings!
Terry did not have children of her own. But she enjoyed being with, and hearing about, the children and grandchildren of her family and friends. Terry’s “children” were her cats. All of her adult life she had at least two cats and she treated them like they were her precious babies.
We will miss you so much, our dear Terry. Dance on in Heaven!
