Barbara Ann "Peep" Lenhardt

She was born on September 21, 1959 in Northern Virginia and was the daughter of the late John V. and Dolores Wilson Theimer.

Barbara graduated from Lake Braddock High School. She lived in Culpeper and moved to Fayetteville, NC before moving to Harrisonburg in 1987. She was a textbook manager at EMU for the past 15 years.

She loved to read, enjoyed working puzzles, shopping and watching tv.

On May 16, 1980 she married John A. Lenhardt, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, David P. Lenhardt (Ziran Yong) of Charlottesville, Doug S. Lenhardt of Harrisonburg; one granddaughter, Julia M. Lenhardt; a brother Richard “Dick” Theimer of Stafford; and three nieces, Katie, Diane and Cheryl, all of VA.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Martin Chapel at EMU with Pastor Brian Burkholder officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be private.
