Bertha Lee (Reeder) Foley

On January 9, 2021, Bertha Lee Foley gained her wings and went to walk with the angels and her heavenly family. She was 96 years young and passed away peacefully after a brief illness. She was born in Brownwood Texas on August 5, 1924 to Ellie and Whitelaw Reeder. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arnold Foley, her daughters Betty, Linda, and Zadah, her son Paul, and two brothers. She is survived by a son, Roy Foley of Harrisonburg, a sister, Lila White of Brownwood TX, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Bertha’s greatest love was that of her family. She was the center figure in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew her lovingly considered her “granny”. You will forever be in our hearts Granny. A celebration of life will be held privately at a date yet to be determined.
