Dear Brent, Ashley and Patrick,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of your mother, and wish to express my sincere sympathy to you and your family.  Beverly and I were great friends and enjoyed many memorable times together.  I always appreciated her sense of humor and her kind and generous nature.  She was talented and very creative.  Needless to say, I will miss her.  
I realize the past several years have been difficult for you.  But with the passing of time, may the precious memories of all the beautiful experiences you shared together serve to comfort you, console you, sustain you and give you peace.  I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

When Beverly was born my mother surprised me with the announcement that my father had become a grandfather.  Being eleven years of age and imagining that anyone over thirty had declined into ancient age, my childish reaction was to exclaim, “Boy, is he going to be mad!”  Of course he was anything but mad; he and my mother were overjoyed.  We lost no time driving to Dayton to be introduced to this beautiful new addition to our family – Beverly!  

In the years that followed we watched that delightful baby turn into a beautiful girl, sister, woman, gracious lady, wife, mother and grandmother.   Still more years passed and Beverly and Roland added three sons to their family – Ashley. Brent and Patrick.   They, in turn, brought to the family three wonderful wives who have since added seven beautiful grandchildren to the Early clan.

During Beverly's funeral, as I looked over this family that sprang from the union between my father and Mary Virginia Ruebush Estes and their daughter Dora Estes Spencer, it occurred to me how proud my father would be – but not just my father but also Mary Virginia, Dora and everyone else who comprises a part of this lineage. 

I find it so appropriate that Beverly, her mother and grandmother are laid to rest within approximately a hundred feet of each other.  Look downhill at about a right angle to Beverly's grave site and the roadway on which we parked for Mary Virginia Ruebush Estes' grave beneath an obelisk that stands about six feet tall.  Family pride is a good thing.  There is so much that confers justifiable pride on each and every member of this loving family.  
It has been my privilege to know and love Beverly all of her life.

She was very kind and generous, and no matter how many kids invaded your home on Cedar Hill she always managed to be very calm and collected! I had the great pleasure of being Beverly's home care giver,Home Instead senior care. she was always so happy to see me, ill never forget how funny she was! She will be greatly missed! My thoughts and prayers from my family to hers,to her boys and families and Brenda, her mind is much clearer now and her smile is with the one she loves! I'm so sorry for your loss, may god be with you through this hard time.

I had the great pleasure to be with Beverly almost on a daily basis as her caregiver before she moved into the retirement center... I thought about her often, and ill never forget how funny she was. She will be greatly missed, her mind is much clearer now and shes without sickness and she's back with the one she loves so much. Bless the Early family and Beverly's sister Brenda, They have so much love ? in there hearts for her... I thank you for letting me being a part of her life!  She will never be forgotten.... Rip and may god be with you all in this hard time.+
