Ervin Alfred Knight

He was born November 18, 1947 in Rockingham County and was the son of the late Alfred and Verdie Knight.

Ervin was a lifetime member of Peake Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed being with his family, sitting on his porch, the outdoors, watching tv, and looking at pictures.

He is survived by three sisters, Mamie Knight, Margaret Eppard, and Rita Myers and husband, Carroll, all of Harrisonburg; a niece, Linda Corbin and husband, Charles of Broadway; two nephews, Dale Eppard of Harrisonburg and Timmy Myers of Verona; a great-niece, Amber Corbin, of Broadway; two great-nephews, Dustin Corbin of Broadway and Andrew Myers of Verona.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Knight; a sister, Margie Knight; and a niece, Barbara Eppard.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Peake Pentecostal Church in Harrisonburg. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend Laney Knight and Reverend Michael Fallin officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Clinton Cemetery.

Friends and family may call and/or visit anytime at the Knight family residence.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to offset the funeral expense.
