My condolences to John's family on your loss. My husband Richard and I knew John for many years when we lived in Massanutten, and Dick played golf so many times with John. It makes me smile to think that Dick is there waiting in Heaven and probably already has a tee time lined up for himself and Karl to play a round of golf with John as soon as John gets settled in. Dick had a career in the Air Force also, and that was another connection that made them friends. Prayers to each of you for your loss.

The Men and Women of the McGaheysville-Massanutten Lions Club mourn the passing of Lion John Baugher, a Club member from 2003 to 2008. He served our country in the USAF and retired after a 20+ year career. He was an exceptional golfer, accomplished log home builder and frequently hand-made signs and trophies to support our Lions Club activities. John led a productive life helping his fellow Lions serve those in need. He will be missed, and remembered, by us all. His name will be added to our Memorial at the Lions Memorial Community Park in Massanutten, VA.

To the family of my friend John Baugher please accept my condolences for the passing of John. I first met John in the Harrisonburg Elks Lodge and continued a friendship with John while we both lived at Massanutten Village for many years. John enjoyed Trout fishing and many outdoor sports and was an expert at lettering and designing Signs of all types. John will be sadly missed by the community and his family.
