Judy Ennis Larson

She was born in Georgia on April 3, 1956 and was the daughter of Betty Waller Ennis and the late Doyle Ennis.

Judy has lived in McGaheysville since 1992 and was a member of the Brown Memorial Community Church. She was employed in the Athletics Communication Department at JMU.

On November 16, 1985 she married Rick Larson, who survives.

She is also survived by a daughter Katy Hurd and husband, Jon, of Fredericksburg, VA; a grandson, Henry Hurd; two sisters, Carol Starley and Marie Durden both of Ivey, GA; three brothers, Larry Ennis of Augusta, GA, Luke Ennis of Ivey, GA, and Dawkins Ennis of Warner Robins, GA.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Jon Larson and a brother, Ricky Ennis.

The family will receive friends 5-7:30 pm, Friday, October 17, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 18, at the Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Glenn Steiner officiating. Burial will be in the Ivey Baptist Church Cemetery in Ivey, GA. The casket will be closed.
