Lois Marie Richards

She was born in Harrisonburg on June 3, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Daisy Wayland Richards.

Lois lived all her life in the Harrisonburg area; she attended Massanutten Vo-Tech and was employed with Camelot Hall Nursing Home, now Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center before retiring in 2001. She was a member of Mt. Olive Brethren Church.

She is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great- great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was recently cared for by her great-niece, Stephanie Berkshire Teter.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Clover Hill U.M. Church Cemetery with Dr. Fredric Miller officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harrisonburg Rescue Squad, Harrisonburg Fire Dept., or Rockingham Memorial Hospital, in her memory.
