March Harlan Warner

Mr. March Harlan Warner of Annapolis, Maryland died Dec 21, 2017 at his home. He was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sons, Eddie Harlan Warner and March Warner,II of Annapolis Maryland , a sister, Gladys Warner Harper, of Franklin, West Virginia as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Warner was born in Riverton, West Virginia March 11, 1929, to Mr. Samuel Showalter Warner and Sally Teter Warner. He graduated from Bridgewater College in 1951 and completed his Masters Degree at University of Virginia in 1961. Mr. Warner continued his education at Washington and Lee University, UVA-Mountain Lake Biological Station, Wake Forest University, Western Michigan University, Radford University, New York University, and the University of Maryland completing credits beyond a Ph.D. Mr. Warner was an educator for over 60 years. His career in education started with assignments throughout the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. From 1961 until his retirement he taught science at Annapolis Senior High School. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Woodbine Cemetery in Harrisonburg with Pastor John Swartz of the Mabel Memorial Chapel, officiating.
