Nona Lee (Kronk) Bowman

She was born on April 9, 1937 in Lacey Spring, and was the daughter of the late Clois A. and Mary G. Strickler Kronk.

Nona graduated from Harrisonburg High School and was a member of Massanutten Presbyterian Church. She had worked in banking. After retirement, she went to work for A & J Excavating and worked there for a number of years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linden Ray Bowman on December 17, 2009.

She is survived by her daughters, Delores Cooper Rose and husband, Ronald, of Savannah, GA and Melissa Bowman Coleman and husband, Royce of Valdosta, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Sunnyside in Meredith Chapel with Chaplain Pat L. Spears officiating. Burial will be private at Mountain Valley Methodist Church Cemetery.
