Ronald William Tucker, Sr.

Ronald William Tucker, Sr., 69, a resident of Hinton passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at his home where he had resided for two years. He was born on March 3, 1952 and was the son of the late Sherwood Odell Tucker, Sr. and Catherine Walker Tucker. He worked as a custodian for 20 years and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Staunton. He loved to watch fish in the family pond and sunbathe. He is survived by his children, Tammy Bray and Ronald Bray both of Norfolk, Otinka Bray of Hinton, Kesha Bray of Norfolk and Ronald Tucker, Jr. of York, PA; his grandchildren, Otinka Bray, Jr., Aziyah Bray, Orion Bray, Shaquan Bray, Aquarius Bray, Oteasha Bray, Marcus Bray, Malajah Bray, Nadia Bray, Lamar Bray, Lamon Bray and Nasean Bray; great-grandchildren, Ke’Mya and Ta’Kyla Robinson and Najiah Jones; two sisters, Celestine Brooks (Robert - deceased) and Sherlden Skinner (Herbert – deceased); aunt Ruth Deloris (Irones) Bryant; and a special cousins, Yolanda Brown (Mark) and Shiquita Amos (Roy); his former companion, Delphine Bray of Norfolk; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Tucker; a brother, Sherwood Odell Tucker, Jr.; and his grandparents, Leroy and Ella Mae Lynn. Honoring his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
