He was born October 5, 1991 in Harrisonburg, and was the son of Steve Waltz and Teresa Brooks.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Amanda Brooks; son, Little Steven Anthony Scott Brooks and his mother, Heather Herring; sister, Stephanie Brooks Patnode and husband, Jeremy; grandmother, Shirley Brooks; aunt, Kathie Brooks; nephews, Joey, Shaun and Kristian; niece, Natalie; and cousin, Jordan Brooks.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather R.E. “PawPaw” Brooks.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Roger Dove and Pastor Jim Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.
