Sylvia (Lowder) Collins

Sylvia Collins, 86, a resident of Shenandoah, VA, passed away on September 29, 2021 at Skyview Springs Rehab. and Nursing Center. She was born on June 11, 1935 in Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Esther Bentley Lowder. Sylvia had been employed in the bakery at Kroger while living in Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by her children, Curtis Collins and wife, Stacia, of Shenandoah, VA, Linda Sue Collins of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Thomas Collins of Columbus, Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Eloise Salyer of Portsmouth, Ohio; and number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald E. Collins. Honoring her wishes she will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm in West Portsmouth, Ohio with the location to be determined.
