Tadeusz "Ted" W. Brzozowski

Ted was a Director of Environmental Engineering for National Rail Passenger Services (Amtrak) from July 1977 until 1988. He and Sandy moved to the Valley in 1989 and enjoyed the country life while antiquing, meeting new friends and exploring local history. He always gave freely of his time and many talents to his church, family and community. For 7 years he was Director of Transportation for Valley Program for Aging Services (VPAS) working from the Price-Rotary Senior Center in Harrisonburg to chauffeur “his ladies and gentlemen” and provide Meals on Wheels for city and county residents. His life provided blessings to many he and will be greatly missed.

His family includes Sandra “Sandy” M. Brzozowski whom he married February 14, 1976; son, Kristofer and his wife, Yvette; daughter Robin and son-in-law, Ray; grandchildren, Klara, Chad, Daniel, Travis, Chandlynn and great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Aurora.

Ted will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church, 281 East Market St., Harrisonburg, 22801, with Pastor Bob Humphrey and Pastor Brett Davis conducting the service. Everyone is invited to join Ted’s family at a luncheon in the church Activity Center following the service.
