A memorial service for William H. Cooper, Jr. will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Augusta Stone Presbyterian Church in Fort Defiance, VA. The service is for family and close friends and will be conducted by The Reverend Beth McCrary, Pastor of Augusta Stone.
William was born to William Hudson Cooper, Sr. and wife, Evelyn Edith (Cyphers) Cooper, January 20, 1948.
William leaves behind a daughter, Valerie Cooper; a daughter, Katherine "Katie" King and husband, Daniel; a son, William H. Cooper III; as well as four grandchildren. In addition he leaves behind three sisters, Ann Bowman, Susan Propst and husband, Sherrill, Brenda Remis and husband, Paul; three brothers, David Cooper and wife, Eileen, Albert Cooper and wife, Rae, and Brian Cooper and wife, Karen. He had twelve nieces and nephews; and five step nieces and nephews.
