He was born on April 11, 1999 in Harrisonburg and was the son of Edward Ritchie of Harrisonburg.
William graduated from East Rockingham High School in 2017 and was a diesel mechanic with Interchange Group, Inc. for three years. He loved working on vehicles and enjoyed going to professional wrestling events with Stephen.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Brittany Ritchie of Rockingham and Alexis Dean and husband, Patrick, of Harrisonburg; grandmother, Linda Ritchie of Harrisonburg; a special friend who was like a brother to him, Stephen Clinedinst of Grottoes; an uncle, Chris Ritchie and wife, Anita, of Timberville and cousins, CJ Ritchie, Allie Judd and Tommy Ritchie.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Gene Ritchie and great-grandmother, Arbutus Godfrey.
William will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with Pastor Rick Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
