Betty Jean Jackson born June 14, 1940 to Victor and Mary Brock went home to be with our Lord on September 10, 2019. Betty was saved at a young age and attended church throughout her life. She was a member of Brownies Creek Baptist Church. She’s preceded in death by her husband Eugene Jackson, grandson Brandon Dale Jackson, great grandson Randall Austin Slusher, son-in-law Andy Hobbs, brothers Vernon, Linzie, Otis, Robert, and Jr. Brock, sisters, Margie Jackson and Mae Green. She is survived by her sister Myrtle Nuss and sister-in-law Opal Brock. Her sons, David (Babette) Jackson, Steve (Cheryl) Jackson, daughter Darlene Hobbs. Grandchildren, David E. (Stephanie) Jackson, Krystal (Jared) Slusher, Arielle (Sam) Stoner, Max (Erin) Daniels, Sielana Jackson, Derrick (Heather) Jackson, Stephanie (Carl) Lambdin, Tyler Jackson, Brittany (Daniel) Raines, AJ (Krystal) Hobbs, John (Heather) Hobbs. 19 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren. And a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: David E. Jackson, Derrick Jackson, AJ Hobbs, Max Daniels, John Hobbs, Gage Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Ethan Slusher, Tate Jackson, Jared Slusher and Sam Stoner. Services will be held at the Powell Valley Association located on Laurel Hill, Jackson Road, in Pineville, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, September 13, 2019 from 6:00-9:00pm. Funeral Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 12:00pm. Intermit to follow. Elder John Wylie Robbins and Elder Rick Dorton officiating.
