Charles was devoutly religious and is one of the rare individuals who lived his life true to his religious beliefs in the Christian teachings of kindness, modesty, concern and respect for everyone and truly tried to treat every human being by “The Golden Rule.” He for decades has had engrossing interest in the medical, historical, geographical and religious aspects of Jesus life. This became his lifelong most enduring work for which he wrote multiple very detailed chapters.
He felt fortunate to have had the opportunity for world travel alongside the love of his life and wife Evy. He spent part of his life with doing missionary work.
His favorite pastimes were traveling, reading and listening to classical music (the three tenors: Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras). He owned more than one Collie Dog pet that were important members of the Johnson family.
