Clifford will be missed. He and his family welcomed me into their lives and, for a time, into their home, when I needed a place to stay. He was always kind, thoughtful and had a great sense of humor. I will miss joking around with him but most of all, I will miss his friendship. He was a great friend for many years, offering advice and encouragement to me and everyone who had the good fortune to be his friend. I pray that all who knew him will find peace in time and just remember how much he loved us all.

I'm so sad to hear this. Clifford was always so good to us and made me feel welcomed in his home. I saw The NeverEnding Story there for the first time, I loved it. I had to watch it every time I came over. He never forgot my favorite part and would fast forward it to Falkor so I wouldn't miss my flying puppy dragon before Mom picked us up. He was so thoughtful and will be truly missed.

Even though I cannot be there in person as I recover from oral surgery, my heart and spirit are standing with you today. I am lifting each of you in prayer — Miss Darlene, Trish, Billy, and Kippy — asking God to surround you with His peace, His strength, and His unending love as you honor the life of Clifford.

Clifford was a man deeply respected and deeply loved. His kindness, his steady presence, and the way he cared for others left a mark that will never fade. Heaven has welcomed him home, but his spirit remains here — living on in your memories, in your stories, and in the love he poured into each of you.

To Trish — Daddy’s little precious girl, and my best friend — I am holding you up in prayer the same way you’ve held me so many times. May you feel God’s arms around you, steadying you and giving you strength when the weight feels too heavy. Your father’s light lives on through you in every step you take.

To Miss Darlene — may God’s grace wrap around you gently. May His comfort fill the quiet spaces and remind you that love never ends, not even in loss. The bond you shared with Clifford is eternal.

To Billy and Kippy — may you feel your father’s strength living through you. May God give you courage, unity, and peace as you honor the man who shaped your lives and taught you what it means to stand strong.

I am with you in spirit, in love, and in prayer. May God’s comfort rest on your family, and may Clifford’s memory be a blessing that continues to shine through each of you.

I'm sure the residents of Heaven will be as happy as I was to have him as a "Neighbor".

I’m so sorry darlene and the whole family i wish i could be there but doug and i live in Arkansas  now but i will be there in spirit  i always enjoyed Clifford and Kipp came to my table at the flea market my prayers and thoughts are with you

To know Clifford was to be a friend of his. He had an incredible heart. He was always in a good mood, greeting everyone with a smile that made them feel special. A truly selfless man, he never spoke of himself; he devoted his entire heart to his children and Darlene. He will never be forgotten.  He will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear this! He was always so complementary to others.  My mom shared such good memories of him. He and his family always so supportive of us.
