

She was a member of Pump Springs Baptist Church and was retired from many years of dedicated service at the Claiborne County Hospital and Nursing Home.
Mrs. McAfee was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Mossie Massengill of Harrogate; brothers, Arlo, Meek and Dan Massengill and several nieces and nephews
She is survived by her sons, SGM James McAfee and wife, Eileen of Clinton, TN, Judge John McAfee and wife, Leigh Ann of New Tazewell and Joe McAfee of Knoxville; grandchildren, Vanessa McAfee of Sevierville, Casey Mae McAfee of Clinton, Thomas and Loren Grace McAfee of New Tazewell and her great grandchild, Chole Allen McAfee of Clinton.
Also to mourn her passing and cherish their memories are her siblings, Margie Adams of Delaware, Oh, Barbara Owsley of Harrogate, Nathan Massengill and wife, Wilma of Harrogate, Glenn Massengill and wife, Joyce of Knoxville , Garry Massengill and wife Linda of Ypsilanti, Michigan; sisters-in-law, Blanche Massengill and Paulette Massengill, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-8PM Sat., Sept, 8, 2012 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate with funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with Rev. Robert Simmons, Rev. Ken Lambert and John McAfee officiating. Burial in the Forge Ridge Cemetery at 1:00PM Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 with grandson, Thomas McAfee and nephews, Mike, Brian, Dwayne, Scotty Massengill, Jim, Donnie and Mike Adams, David Jones and Vance Heck serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her former co-workers from Claiborne County Hospital and Nursing Home.
