Lois Carol Myers

Dr. Lois Crol Myers, age 81, of Harrogate, TN was born on May 4, 1944 and passed away on December 11, 2025 at Tri-State Nursing Home. Crol was saved at an early age and joined First Baptist Church, Harrogate, TN.

Carol was the daughter of Woodrow Wallen and Cleo Wallen. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William "Tom" Myers, and one sister, Linda Sue Goins. She also leaves behind one niece Robbin McHenry, and several nieces and nephews on her husband's side.

She earned her PhD at ETSU. Carol worked several years in the Claiborne County School System, as a health education instructor where she sponsored the VICA club. The VICA club had one national winner and several state winners.

After teaching Carol went with the State of TN. Education Department where she finished her career. Carol was also the owner of M&M Shoe Store in Rogersville, TN for 40 years.

The family will receive friends on Friday December 19, 2025, from 2 until 3 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate. The funeral service will be at 3 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in Old Irish Cemetery in Tazewell.
