

Milton Howard Long, age 77, of Harrogate, TN was born October 10, 1938 to Joe and Mossie Johnson Long passed away at the UT Hospital on February 17, 2016. On April 7, 1962, he married Nieves Soler Trigueros in Cartegena, Spain. He was a member and deacon of the Gibson Station Missionary Baptist Church. He proudly served for 20 years in the United States Navy, upon retiring he returned with his family to Claiborne County. He is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University. He also worked 10 years for the United States Postal Service. He loved his family, friends and his church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mossie Long; brothers, Austin M. Long and Jerry Long; sisters, Bessie Longworth, Ruth Cosby, Mary Polley and Billie Long.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Nieves Soler Long

Grandchildren: Thomas, Stephen, Jacob, Joseph, Daniel & Leisha Long

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Friday February 19, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate. Funeral service 1 P.M. Saturday February 20, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Cave Springs Cemetery with Military Honors.
