A.B. Hughey

Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Gardens.

AB served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, was very committed to his family and enjoyed studying family history and genealogies. He also enjoyed walking in 5K’s with his good friend Mr. Walter Hood.

He was preceded in death by: His father, Altie Hughey, mother, Lois Thompson, and brother Lonnie Hughey.

He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Hughey of Bossier City, LA; Daughter, Melissa Bequette and husband Aaron of Beckville, TX; Grandchildren, Sarah Hartsfield and husband Levi of Jackson, TN and Andrew Bequette of Beckville, TX. Sisters and brothers, Stella Leeson of Vivian, LA, William Hughey of Shreveport, LA, Margaret Hughey of Vivian, LA, Michael Hughey of Vivian, LA, Linda Mericle of DeBerry, TX; step-children, Elaine Atencio and husband Michael of Ruston, LA, Tina Cunningham of Bossier City, LA, Tommy Fotopoulos and wife Marcie of Hallsville, TX, John Fotopoulos and wife Kerstin of Baltimore, MD, Petrina Smith and husband Cory of Bossier City, LA; numerous nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and many friends.

Pallbearers will be:Andrew Bequette, Donnie Eubanks, Charles Gholson, Walter Hood, Dale Hughey, Cory Smith
