BOSSIER CITY, LA. Audrey Dupuy LaBorde, 91, was called home to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 27, 2023, in Bossier City, LA. Services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, 601 US-80 Haughton, LA. at 10 am with Rev. Msgr. Rothell Price, presiding. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from 6pm until a Rosary at 7:30 pm at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, LA.
Audrey was born on November 11, 1931 in Marksville, LA. She moved to Bossier City in 1950 with her husband Eugene to start her family. She was a lifelong member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was active in the church along with her husband through the Knights of Columbus. She was a founding member of the Christ the King Catholic School and was employed as a Food Service Director. She was a Girl Scout leader and active in the 4-H program.
In 1976 she and her husband opened and ran LaBorde’s Custom Cabinets until retirement. Audrey enjoyed camping, sewing, reading and traveling with her family. She will be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene LaBorde; father Norclay Dupuy and mother Louise Normand; brother Roy Dupuy and grandson Christopher Taylor. She is survived by her sister Judy Woolley , brother Christopher Dupuy, and her sister in law RaeAnna LaBorde; children Glenn LaBorde, Ann LaBorde, Randall LaBorde and wife Mary Sue, Celeste LaBorde and husband Dan Foster, Clare Gordon and husband Steve, Monica LaBorde, Cecilia Berry, Stephanie Webb and her husband Paul, Yvonne Walker and husband Kelly; grandchildren Sharon, Jean Paul and Roger LaBorde, Renee Mitchell, Abigail Berry, Penny DeTello, Madeline Naquin, Matthew Olinde, Reade and Lucas Webb; great grandchildren Valerie, Vivian, and Vada Naquin and Nathaniel and Tessa Mitchell.
