Celebration of life service for Barbara Jean Perkins Barnes will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Bryan Reed will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Barbara was born to George and Maxine Perkins on November 12, 1930 and entered into rest on September 4, 2011 after a brief illness. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandkids and great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 29 years, R. Dale Barnes and parents, George and Maxine Perkins.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon England, Judy Williams and husband Jerry, Cheryl Bolton and husband James, sister, Betty Permenter, brother, Lee Morgan and wife Mary,six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Todd Herrell, Jeff Brooks, Wendell Brooks, Andrew Bolton, Jim Permenter, and Dennis Brooks.
