Family and friends will come together at 3:00 PM, Monday, June 7, 2021, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home to celebrate the life of a very special lady, Cecile "Cil" Tucker. There will be a time of visitation from 1:30 - 3:00 PM prior to the service.
Cecile Ann Tucker, 70, was born on March 24, 1951, in Harlingen, TX to parents Captain Curtis E. & Bettye Ann Robertson. She left this life here on earth to join our Savior, Jesus Christ, in heaven on June 2, 2021 following a lengthy illness. Cecile, or Cil as those who loved her knew her, was employed with the Bossier Parish School Board at Airline High School since 2005. She was loved by students, faculty, and staff. Cil was a loving and devoted mom, "mammy", and wife. She was married to the love of her life and best friend, Jackie "Jack" Lee Tucker, for 32 years. Collectively she was our sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Cil will leave an empty place in our hearts that can't be filled. She will be deeply missed by all!
Cecile was preceded in death by her parents, Captain Curtis E. & Bettye Ann Robertson, her parents-in-law, Albert and Johnnie Tucker, and a handful of siblings. She leaves behind her loving husband, Jack Tucker; children, Curtis Murphy & wife Tracey, Chenoa Patterson & husband Jeremy, Joel Coxsey, Kimberly Coxsey, and Katie St. John & husband T.J.; grandchildren, Zachary Beasley, Amber Hyde, Patrick Murphy, Cameron Stewart, Jonathan Murphy, Tyler Tippen, Caleb Tippen, Haley Mangum, and Presley Patterson; great-grandson, Renley Hyde; her sisters, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Special thanks to Dr. Gerardo San Pedro, Patrice W. Kingsley, N.P., and the entire staff at Intensive Specialty Hospital in Bossier City, LA for their care, warmth, and hospitality.
