Charles Edward Smith

A celebration of life service will be held for Charles Smith on Monday, March, 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow with full military honors at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Charles was the most generous and loving person. He never turned away a stranger and was a down-home country boy.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Rueben and Ida Smith, sister, Vera Petty and brother Garvin Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith; sons, Charles Leon Smith and Robert Lee Smith and wife Shelley; daughter, Belinda Mae Sivertsen and husband Karl; sisters, Betty Ann Pekins and husband Phillip and Irene and husband Don; brothers, Ermon Reese Smith and wife Sara, Billy Wayne Smith and wife Denise, Robert Martin Smith and wife Ruby May, Jay Smith and wife Linda and David Leon Smith and wife Cecilia; brother-in-law, Marvin Petty; sister-in-law, Byrl Smith; grandchildren, James Edward Smith and Samantha Lunsford the mother of Dalton Smith (great grandchild), Caitlin Mae Smith, Angela Marie Smith and Nicole Leigh Smith. He was also survived by many close friends.
