

BOSSIER CITY, LA – Graveside services celebrating the life of Clarice Foster will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Bro. Harrell Shelton and Bro. Billy Pierce officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. also at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
A lifelong resident of Northwest Louisiana, Clarice was born in Oil City, LA on August 22, 1924 and entered the gates of Heaven December 12th 2016 after a brief illness. She was a member of the first graduating class of 1942 from Bossier High School’s then brand new building on Bearkat Dr. and Founding Charter Member of Waller Baptist Church in Bossier City. A retired account executive for Travelers Insurance Company, after retirement she continued her lifelong service to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, becoming the church secretary at Airline Baptist Church. She was a devote christian, devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family, church and Savior Jesus Christ unconditionally.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janie Hearne; husband Carlton H. Foster; two sisters Marcie Hagge and Oleta Harrison and one brother J. C. Hearne.
Clarice is survived by her two sons, Rick Foster and Mike Foster; and three grandchildren, Valerie Foster, John Michael Foster and Jennifer Foster.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Lee, Dr. Michael Holdsworth and David Libert.
The family would like to thank the attending Physicians and Nurses of Christus Highland Hospital and Christus Highland Hospice for their excellent care and compassion during her resent stay.
