Funeral services for Claude Armstrong Carrigan, 67, will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Quinn Nyman officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Mr. Carrigan was born April 17, 1944 in Humnoke, AR; and entered into rest, November 13, 2011 in Shreveport, LA. He was an Outboard Motor Mechanic and a former football player for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.He loved fishing, and spoiling his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of forty-two years, Karen A. Carrigan; parents, Robert and Arveta Carrigan; brother, Robert Carrigan.
Survivors include his daughters, Karamie Gray and husband Travis Gray,Jr. ; Kristina Prestridge and husband Shane; sister, Carol Ruppert; two brothers, Jesse Carrigan and Jim Carrigan; four grandchildren, Gabriel and Micah Prestridge, Travis,III and Claudia Gray.
