Danny Ray Babin

Danny Ray Babin, 72, of Minden, Louisiana, passed away on August 11, 2024. Danny was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known for his kind heart and love for all things outdoors.

Born and raised in North Louisiana, Danny grew in his love for the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, and camp at Bodcau Reservoir! He was a member of the Parkway Baptist Church in Minden, where he found joy in worship and fellowship.

Preceded in death by his wife, Terry L. Babin of Minden; parents, Albert and Mary Babin of Princeton and brother and sister-in-law, Albert “Bubba” and Donna Babin of Evergreen.

Danny is survived by his loving sister, Jennie Babin Copeland and husband Walter of Elm Grove; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Marilyn Powell of Minden; his daughters, Candice Tomlinson and husband Wayne of Haughton, Gwen Simmons of Sibley, Charity Babin Prince of Bastrop and Amanda Babin Posey and husband Jessie of Shreveport; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A graveside memorial service will be held to honor Danny at 10:00 am on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
