Elm Grove, LA – Darrell Gwayne Denham was born on January 16, 1959 in Denison, TX and passed away on May 1, 2018 in Elm Grove. His family will be receiving friends for a memorial gathering on Monday, May 7, 2018 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Darrell was a longtime resident of Elm Grove and a graduate of Airline High School. He had a real passion for music and a talent for playing the guitar and song writing. He loved his family and enjoyed any time spent with them. He liked motorcycles, fishing, the outdoors and of course he loved his dogs. Anyone who knew Darrell knew an infectious smile and genuine tender heart.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta “Bert” Denham and his sister, Denise Denham Barker. Darrell is survived by his father, Gwayne W. Denham; brothers, James Denham and wife Catherine and Sean Denham and wife Lori; nephew David Cleary; nieces, Rain Denham and Marjorie Denham.
